DJ Beer is a female, First Nations (Ts’msyen) electronic artist currently living in Vancouver. Originally born in Prince Rupert, she taught herself how to mix on an iPad for the entertainment of her friends while she was completing her Bachelor’s of Archaeology. Since this time, she has upgraded her gear, audience, and education, now possessing a Masters and performing at popular downtown nightclubs such as Celebrities and Red Room. She has now played at clubs, festivals, breweries, and live-streams for nearly over a decade.

As versatile in her genre selection as she is in her personal and professional life, Beer includes bass, trap, DnB, house, and poolside tracks in her repertoire. However, fun-spirited and lyric-forward music is always center stage in her mixes. Her sets are known to get the whole venue jumping.
