Looking for a fun, FREE family activity? Take the kids on a StoryWalk!
Take a walk through the pages of a children’s book and enjoy a wonderful story in the park!

Books will change monthly – check in regularly for the next story!
Win a copy of each month’s book!
To be entered into the prize draw, take a photo on your StoryWalk® and email it to email@example.com telling us the number in your group (children’s faces should not be shown).
Free activity kits!
Book-related activity kits for the kids to do at home are provided by Child Care Resource and Referral (Northwest Child Development Centre).
StoryWalk® is brought to you by the Literacy Outreach Program at Smithers Community Services Association and Childcare Resource & Referral at the Northwest Child Development Centre.
Thank you to the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation and Decoda Literacy Solutions for their funding, to the Town of Smithers for their support of the project and for allowing us to install it in Heritage Park, and our wonderful volunteers who are helping to make this happen!
