Looking for a fun, FREE family activity? Take the kids for a walk through the pages of a children’s book and enjoy a wonderful story in the outdoors!
StoryWalk® is set up along ‘Lois Lane’ through Heritage Park – start at the Kiddies’ Park entrance on Manitoba Street. Books will change approximately monthly – check in regularly for the next story!
When you get to the end of the story, head over to Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) in the Northwest Child Development Centre at 1471 Columbia Drive (9am-4pm, Monday-Friday) and pick
up a FREE story retelling activity kit for the kids to do at home! Win your own copy of each month’s book! To be entered into the prize draw, take a photo on your StoryWalk® and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org (children’s faces should not be shown).
