Ringtones present: “It might as well be Spring”
Saturday April 13th, 2019 7:30pm-10:00pm
Logpile Lodge - Smithers, BC
A concert honouring the slushy season featuring: The Ringtones and 1/2 Decent Act
Formed in 2010 by 8 choristers and conductors from the Hazelton and Smithers choirs, the original members were eager to explore the world of choral music with an emphasis on jazz, folk, classical and world music. As regular and guest performers at festivals and concerts, the group quickly gained a Northern audience and has grown to become one of the cornerstones of the Northwest a cappella scene. Combining an extremely varied repertoire and a deadly sense of humour, the Ringtones will tickle both your fancy and your follicles.
½ Decent Act:
Allan Cormier, Tony Harris, and Chris Luther are all graduates (Summa Cum Laude/Loud) of the Local Vocals School of Choral Music. Equipped with guitars, ukuleles, a piano, and incredible voices, these Northern troubadours are emerging as a must see on the Highway 16 coffee house circuit.
