Smithers Events

We are a music program for youth aged 11-18, offering 5 days of small-group music instruction, games, lake activities, drumming workshops, crafts, campfire jams, and more. During past camps, we have had between 18-32 students.

Lodging and meals are provided, and accommodations for most accessibility needs can be arranged. Our staff consists of professional musicians, a handful of youth leaders, as well as two camp coordinators and one amazing cook, and other volunteers!

Each camper can choose between bass, guitar, or ukulele as their primary instrument, and no experience in music is required. Campers that already have proficiency in their instrument will be placed in groups of a similar skill level. Bringing other instruments is encouraged, as they can often be integrated with the music being taught or written at camp.

Camp Caledonia resides on unceded Wet'suwet'en Territory. It is less than a 15 minute drive from Smithers, BC.
