Wesli is a Haitian-born and raised artist now thriving in Canada as a versatile singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who has become one of Haiti's most inspiring musical ambassadors.
Born in 1980 to a financially-challenged family in Port-au-Prince, his musical adventure began at a young age when he sang alongside mother in the choir of the local church. His father was a well-known banjo and percussion player.
His unique compositions blend traditional Haitian rhythms with a mix of styles. Together with his backing band of keyboards, bass, drums, sax, trumpet and vocals, he fuses the vibrant sounds of his homeland with contemporary genres.
